What does Wuxia mean?
Martial-hero fiction centered on jianghu, swordsmanship, honor, revenge, masters, and wandering heroes.
Characters may perform extraordinary feats, but the tone is usually closer to martial honor, revenge, loyalty, schools, manuals, and personal justice.
If xianxia is about transcending the mortal world, wuxia is often about how heroes act within it.
